Christ Miracle
She was born in Robbins, Illinois. She comes from a legacy of ministers, singers, writers, composers and musicians. She learned to love, fear and serve God at an early age. As a result of her religious upbringing and her humble submission to the call of God, she surrendered her life to Christ at an early age. She experienced the Miracle working Power of God,” when God healed her from Asthma in 1985. She needed a pair of Lungs and through the laboring in prayer by her mother, Gods servant, Pastor Frances E. Thomas, God dispatched an Angel from Heaven about 3am in the morning and here she is today. She realized that only the power of God could have delivered her. It is from this battle and many other battles and victories on which she maintains her confidence in God and stands on the solid Rock, Christ Jesus. She knows that the Lord loves her and His creation. She has a profound love for God and the people of God. Although her passion and dedication has been within the Youth Ministry, She is able to comprehend with the body of Christ at large. Her desire is to serve, inspire and encourage others, to reach for the more of Jesus, through her many outreach efforts.
She is a singer, a minister and a praise and worship leader. She is an original member of “The Miraclettes”
recording group. Along with her mother and siblings, they recorded several albums in the mid-70’s. Songs you
might remember are “Farther A Long We’ll Understand It,” “Jesus And Me,” and “Shall I Reap Today,” just to
mention a few. She later formed the “Voices Of Praise Inspirational Choir.” In the early 90’s she Co-Founded the
CMHC “Faithful Few Traveling Choir” affectionately know as “The Shouting Choir of Harvey,” which continues to
uplift hearts and inspire many to do as David states in Psalms 100. “Enter into His gates with thanksgivings and
into His courts with Praise. Be Thankful unto Him and Bless His name!
One such outreach Ministry is her orchestration of the “Miracle Hour” radio broadcast which is presented live each Sunday at 2pm and the “Youth on The move For Christ” radio broadcast, which airs each Saturday at 7pm. Additionally, she orchestrates the activities of the week long Streaming Live Services of the Spring and Winter Holy Convocation. She began to taste the “Sweetness of Jesus,” as she followed closely in her mother’s footsteps, going from door to door ministering to God’s people. Her humble beginnings fueled her love for God, gave her a solid foundation and instilled in her a great love and service to the people of God through her many outreach efforts.
She is a musician, a singer, a minister. She is an original member of “The Miracle*es” recording group. Along with her mother and siblings, they recorded several songs in the mid-70’s. Albums you might remember are “Farther A long We’ll Understand It,” “Jesus And Me,” and “Shall I Reap Today,” just to mention a few. She later formed the CMHC Intermediate Choir. In the early 80’s the CMHC Radio Broadcast Choir was established and continues to minister in song each Sunday, on the live radio broadcast and Streams Live during the Spring and Winter Holy Convocational week long services.
She was ordained Co-Pastor of CMHC Church in the mid-80’s. She’s traveled within the Chicago land and Suburban areas and from state to state with the Gospel Revival Tent as well as Evangelizing in Nursing Homes, and Rehabilitation Centers; preaching, teaching, and praying for Gods people, bringing Healing, deliverance and salvation to many.
On June 13, 2023 Pastor Irma Gillespie was called home to be with out Heavenly Father.
